The Farberware FCP412 percolator is super durable since the unit’s pot is constructed out of stainless steel (at least the parts which come into direct contact with your brew are made out of stainless steel).
The only parts which are constructed out of plastic (which happen to be pretty solid) are the handle and unit base. So, if you’re worried about toxic/ BPA from hot plastic, or that the taste of your brew will be altered due to the same, you can rest easy knowing that this unit is perhaps one of the healthiest coffee percolators around.

Considering that the Farberware FCP412’s exterior is made out of sleek stainless steel whilst its base and handle are constructed from black, sturdy plastic, the unit is quite aesthetically appealing.
